Globalization and the Judiciary

September 9–10, 2004

This year’s symposium will have discussions on topics including the effects of decisions of international courts, private judging in international law, and judicial dialogues involving Canada, Europe, and Latin America. “International courts play a key role in the globalized world,” Professor Carl Baudenbacher, advisor to the symposium, said. “The symposium offers us a valuable opportunity to bring together legal practitioners and scholars from across the globe to discuss trends and legal issues shaping the global judiciary.”
