The Symposium

Each year, the Texas International Law Journal hosts a symposium offering in-depth treatment of an international issue. In years past, symposia have been given in honor of distinguished faculty and in memorial to significant historical events. Speakers at TILJ symposia frequently include leading national and international scholars and practitioners in the topic field.

“I thought this conference was the most well-organized such event I have been to in years. It was also one of the most intellectually stimulating and valuable seminars I have ever attended. The variety of legal viewpoints and geographic perspectives was impressive . . . .”
Ken Jacobs, General Counsel

“I do want to reiterate my warmest congratulations and appreciation for a superbly organized and most successful conference, probably the most successful I have attended in my recent memory. The hospitality and the meticulous attention to detail . . . will always remain in my mind as a model of what a good conference should be like.”

Professor Jane Stapleton

“An absolutely amazing symposium. I would not have thought it possible to assemble such a group of imposing experts from all over the world at one time, in one place . . . . The accommodations, meals, and events were all first-class.”
